'Zeelust' is developed by Satellietgroep on invitation of the province of South-Holland and the municipality of The Hague.
We are searching the most pervasive contributions of impressions, objects and people in relation to sea, coast and city. We share the coastal space with many, and we want to make that visible together with you. Contributions from amateurs until professionals are included in the image database, categorized and presented together with the future scenarios for the Dutch coastal protection by Atelier Kustkwaliteit/TU Delft.
With these collections, new coastal typologies that offer other questions and perspectives arise about our relationship with the sea. This is the start of the new project by Satellietgroep, the 'Anthropogenic Coastal Atlas'. The atlas is being shaped by a growing (inter)national network and seeks for new connections between arts and science in order to map out the human relation with the sea. During the Kustweek Zuid-Holland (Coastal Week South-Holland) Satellietgroep provides a platform for people and coastal communities. Coastal imagination and experience is connected with knowledge and vision on the future of sea and coast. Along with your contribution and contributions by Badgasten - artists who since summer 2009 were guests of Satellietgroep at Badgast in surfvillage FAST - and by coastal experts of Atelier Kustkwaliteit (Coastal Quality) we propose an interactive program on sea, coast and city.

With special thanks to Studio Duel, Arendo Schipper and Bruno van den Elshout - 2012 New Horizons.
